Maintenance Notification Ellucian Recruiter SaaS 3.8.2 Test : Scheduled

Scheduled Start: Dec 28, 2015, 08:00 EST
Scheduled End: Dec 31, 2015, 17:00 EST

Maintenance Notification
 
Please be advised that the Ellucian Recruiter 3.8.2 upgrade will be deployed in the TEST environment the week of December 28, 2015. 
 
Please also be advised that the Ellucian Recruiter 3.8.2 upgrade will be installed in the Production environment the weekend of January 15, 2015 5 p.m. through January 18, 2015 8 a.m. EST
 
This notification details the maintenance timeline and planned work.
 
Window: December 28, 2015 8 a.m. to December 31, 5 p.m. EST
 
Activity: Deploy Recruiter 3.8.2 in the TEST environment. 
• Take a Production Backup
• Clone Production to Test 
• Deploy the 3.8.2 upgrade 
• Run 3.8.2 Post-Install Utility
Impact: The Test environment will be unavailable during the time the upgrade is installed in each Client's environment. 
• The impact window for each client upgrade is estimated to be 4 hours;
• The system will be available before and after the impact window.
Client Action:
• The clone is optional. Notify your engagement manager if the preference is not to clone Prod to Test 
• It is suggested to clone the ERP from Prod to Test about the same time to synchronize data
• Conduct testing activities after the upgrade completes 
• The client will be responsible for data clean-up that results from the post-install utility

Notification:
• Notifications will be sent from the EOC when the maintenance window begins and again when the maintenance window ends. 
 
Verify: The Cloud Services team and Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) will be carefully monitoring all activity during and after maintenance is completed to confirm all services are operating correctly.
