[Elluciansupport] Recruiter 3.8.2 Macro Files

Good Morning -

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

The Recruiter 3.8.2 Upgrade is being deployed in the Test environment this week. The macro files that convert the files you get from ACT and SCT from .txt to .csv are attached. Recruiter online help contains instructions for using the macros, but basically:


*        You will use Microsoft Excel to run the macros. Double-click the file and Excel will open. If you are prompted to enable macros, click 'Enable'. If you are not prompted to enable macros, you may need to use the Developers tab. On the Developers tab, click the Macros Security field, and then click Macro Settings to make sure that the Enable all macros radio button is selected.

*        In Excel, click the Add-Ins tab. Select the correct macro (SAT or ACT) for the file you are converting from the Menu Commands window.

*        Browse and select the TXT file provided by the vendor, and then open that file. The macro will convert the TXT file to a CSV file that can then be imported into Recruiter.
