Maintenance Notification

Activity One: Software Upgrade: A5(3.3): Cisco ACE Module ACE30-MOD-K9
 
The OS version on ACE30-MOD-K9 devices will be upgraded to address potential vulnerabilities: POODLE (TLS) Vulnerability. 
Without the software upgrade, all SSL websites that are offloaded to the ACE Module will receive failing grades due to the POODLE (TLS) Vulnerability.
Impact: 	There is no expected impact on customer resources during this change.

Activity Two: VLAN Modification: Adding VLAN to Trunks for Nexus 5596 Pair Addition

VLANs used for Ellucian customer contexts will be added to trunks that connect between the aggregation switch - ar1ag1ccellash02 and the access 5596s – as1ag1oellash02 – as2 and as3-as4 pairs.
Without adding VLANs to trunks, hosts on the same VLAN but on different access pairs, will be unable to communicate.
Impact: 	There is no expected impact on customer resources during this change.

Verify:             The Cloud Services team and Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) will be carefully monitoring all activity during and after maintenance is completed to confirm all services are operating correctly.  Status announcements will be sent prior to work commencing and once all work has been verified completed.
