As you may be aware, Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced a brief outage of its Simple Storage Service (S3) on Tues., Feb. 28.
While none of your solutions were affected, we want you to know that Ellucian takes these matters seriously. Once we were alerted to the problem, we stayed in constant contact with AWS throughout the restoration of service.
AWS performed a root cause analysis and determined the outage was caused by human error.
