Recruit SaaS TEST – Upgrade to CRM Recruit 4.8 Rescheduled
Greetings – The release of Ellucian CRM Recruit 4.8, previously expected for June 30th, will be delayed by several business days. During the course of final cloud delivery testing an issue was discovered impacting the installation process. This issue has been corrected and we are now in final regression testing with anticipated availability of Thursday July 6, 2017. Details on this delay was communicated by the CRM Product VP yesterday during the Recruit 4.8 Launch Event and posted to eCommunities here<https://ecommunities.ellucian.com/message/154121#154121>.
This impacts your institution’s upgrade schedule – Your upgrade, initially scheduled for 07/04 has been rescheduled for 07/10 starting at 5AM Eastern.
This notice is to provide the details on the NEW Date and Time for your CRM Recruit 4.8 TEST upgrade. The information about the upgrade window is below.
If you have concerns about the new date please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to discuss a new date within the July 6 – 14 timeframe.

Activity: Recruit 4.8 upgrade in TEST environment
Date: Monday, July 10th
NEW Time Window: MORNING: 5AM – 11AM Eastern
Impact: Your TEST Environment will be unavailable during the window.
Dependencies: There are no new requirements for ERP integration for CRM Recruit 4.8.

Notifications: In addition to this notice informing you of the upcoming date for your upgrade, we will send a reminder the day of your upgrade. Also, when our team completes the work, we will send an email indicating the upgrades are complete and your system is back online and ready for testing. That notice will include test plans for your use in validating the environment after the upgrade.
Validation: Customers will be responsible for validating the environment following the upgrade. Because timelines are short, please focus on your previously/already configured functionality and review user access, major business operations processes, integration to the ERP, and 3rd Party integrations. New features shipped with this release switched ‘OFF’ and your current configurations should remain intact. The main goal of testing is to validate you will be operational in your current state without issues after the upgrade – once you have validated current state is good you can move on to configure and test the new features of this release as time permits.
